For its strength, utility, and spaciousness, the Chevrolet Tahoe has become synonymous with the full-size SUV class that it inhabits. Available in rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, the 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe boasts capable strength and driving prowess, enhanced by essential safety tools.

CHANGES FOR 2019
This year, the Tahoe maintains the same body design but changes its color options. Shadow Gray Metallic replaces Havana Metallic and Tungsten Metallic. Different exterior colors are available this year for the RST Edition. The Premier trim flaunts a redesigned badge on its tailgate.

UNDER THE HOOD
As massive as the Tahoe is - stretching over 200 inches in length and 74 in height - it needs a robust engine to power it. Chevy delivers the muscle in a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 motor alongside a six-speed automatic transmission. This pairing yields a vigorous 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, allowing the Tahoe to tow up to 6,400 pounds (conventional trailering).

On its top-of-the-line Premier trim, the Tahoe offers an optional 6.2-liter V8 engine with even more strength. 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque increase towing capability an additional 2,000 pounds. That's more than enough to tow your camper or compact RV.

EASY TO CONTROL
Although the Tahoe is a large vehicle, it's not hard to maneuver thanks to its included safety systems. Every 2019 Tahoe carries a Rear Vision Camera and Rear Park Assist to make it easier to see your vicinity when maneuvering backward. StabiliTrak® and four anti-lock brakes help you maintain control of the Tahoe in slippery, treacherous conditions. Available as an add-on at any trim level is the Enhanced Driver Alert Package, which adds Lane Keep Assist, Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and other awareness-enhancing tools.

If you want a family vehicle that doesn't go light on power and size, the 2019 Tahoe at Cronic Chevrolet Buick GMC is the SUV for you.
