The Griffin Ballet Theatre Tutu Run 5K has quickly become an annual favorite for Griffin locals. Back for its fourth year in a row, the Tutu Run lets you get silly while you get some exercise, so don your favorite tutu and head on down to Griffin Memorial Stadium at 8 a.m. sharp on March 2. Registration is only $20, including a running-themed t-shirt, until Feb. 16. After that, the price jumps to $25. All proceeds will benefit the Griffin Ballet Theatre, an upstanding non-profit arts organization in the area.

If the Tutu Run doesn't entirely sate your charitable thirst, consider attending Southern Crescent Technical College's casino-themed fundraiser, "An Evening in Monte Carlo." Individual tickets are $85. Once inside, you can enjoy delicious food, thrilling gaming, and a fun 50/50 raffle. Donate a little extra to the college for additional exclusive perks and extra playing chips. The evening takes place at the SCTC Flint River Campus at 6 p.m. on March 23.

Head north to Canton, Georgia on March 23 or 24 for the annual Wing and Rock Festival.
